2 On Tuesday & a Giveaway!

Hey friends! Thanks for coming back for another week of 2 On Tuesday. I’m so glad you are here reading and participating!

Mandy was last week’s winner of the special surprise from me! Your package is already in the mail, Mandy!

Before we start 2 On Tuesday, I wanted to share with you that my super sweet friend, Cole, is opening an Etsy shop. Cole is so talented – she makes hats, scarves, baby blankets, and more! Check out this adorable cupcake hat! Your little princess needs one of these!

Cole has been knitting since childhood. She loves finding new projects, and she is more than happy to do custom orders. If you see something in her shop that you like but want to tweak (different color or size) just let her know!

I love this frilly pink scarf!

Cole sent me some goodies, and I tried to make Cooper model them this Saturday. As you can see, the photo session did not go well. He is not loving the camera these days.

Cole has so generously offered to giveaway a hat to one of you! One of you will receive the candy corn hat, which is absolutely perfect for this time of year! All you need to do is leave a comment. You get an extra entry if you link up to 2 On Tuesday this week! I will announce the winner on Monday, and will have it in the mail by Tuesday so your little one can get lots of wear out of it this month.

Be sure to visit Cole’s blog and her Etsy shop! Please contact her if you have any requests for custom orders!

Now on to 2 On Tuesday! This week’s question is:

What were your two favorite childhood toys?

I was absolutely obsessed with the game Mouse Trap. I used to play with it for hours in my room.

This wasn’t a game, but I did spend the majority of my childhood with my nose in a book. I read every single book in The Babysitter’s Club series. I wanted to be Stacey. Minus the diabetes, that is.

My second favorite book was Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret. I confess I did practice chanting “we must, we must, we must increase our bust!” Apparently it worked for me.

How about you? What childhood toys did you love?

My sweet friend, I just can't thank you enough for hosting a giveaway of one of my hats!! I hope that he is happier next time he wears his apple!

I loved Mouse Trap! I used to play it with my next door neighbors. :-) I too spent a whole lot of time with my nose buried in a book!

I read every single one of those Babysitter Club books. I was obsessed. That's how my folks used to bribe me to do stuff I didn't want to do. I once got four BSC books for riding a big roller coaster at Busch Gardens!

LOVED the BSC books! I could never get into the Boxcar Children series that a lot of people liked. Books were my best friends growing up.

Ha ha. Funny you mention Mouse Trap. It's currently my daughters' favorite game to play. They have it spread across my dining table.

Never got into the BSC books. I was a Nancy Drew girl. I spent more of my childhood reading than any sane person should have.

I spent an insane amount of time reading BSC books as a kid. I loved those things and had delusions of starting my own club.

I loved mouse trap as a kid, but I have to admit that it's not as much fun as an adult.

We must be close in age - I'm 31 since we seemed to have hit similar trends as kiddos. Did you also love the New Kids on the Block and Debbie Gibson?

I love to link up with you on Tuesdays! So fun and this brought me back to memory lane time! My friend's had Mouse Trap, and it was fun to play, but a pain to set up! I also was a big BSC fan!!

Adorable hats, I'm skipping the answers this week because I seriously don't have any favorite toys. The thing I loved the most growing up in the Caribbean was going out to the pool, the beach, etc any time of the year.

I never actually had Mouse Trap but my cousins did. I remember having lots of books as a kid, but I don't think I was the reader then that I am now. I think I just liked to assign them to my pretend students!

I want to learn to knit sooooo badly! I even bought yarn last year.

We bought that mouse trap game for my kids this year and they love it! I've never played.

I can't even think of what my fav toys where...because my Mom hated me. Proof is on my blog today.

Aw those little hats are too cute!

I use to have tons of the Baby Sitter Club Books, but I never read any of them. :( It's sad, I know.

Cute hats! I love the scarf and the cupcake hat the best. One day maybe I will be able to knit?

I also read and liked the Baby Sitter Club books. Although, I have never read Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. I think that it is on my 100 books to read list. :)
