I love the entire Moroccanoil line. The last time I got my hair cut, my stylist told me she could see a huge difference in my hair. It's soft, shiny, and healthy. I use the shampoo, conditioner, and treatment oil. I use a small dab of the treatment oil daily before I apply other products. It helps to product my hair from heat styling and adds shine. I also use it as a deep conditioner. I slather it on during my cleaning sprees and shower it out later. If you color at home, you can add a cap full to your hair color before mixing and it will help to protect your hair. This product is NOT for fine haired girls. It is very heavy and is deep for those with thick or coarse hair.
Yes, the name is rather unfortunate. Please be reassured it does not contain actual placenta. This is a fab, cheap deep conditioner that can be found at Sally's or Walmart. It contains protein, which your hair needs if it is damaged. Protein will add strength and shine back to your hair. I once got a terrible dye job - so bad that afterward I couldn't comb my hair for fear of my hair breaking off. I used this a couple of times, and it completely restored my hair. How about you - what are your favorite hair products?

TIGI Bed Head Foxy Curls.. All the way and it smells like Skittles!!
Im so glad everyone is talking about that oil! Ive got to get it!
Too bad I have very fine hair and can't use the first one. I might try the second one though. I used o have gorgeous shiny hair and now I can't even find a shampoo and conditioner that doesnt dry my hair out or make it super oily. UGH!!!!
I have heard nothing but rave reviews about Moroccan Oil and just need to hop on the bandwagon already. You had and still have really gorgeous hair in my opinion ;)
I’m glad to know that the second product isn’t actually what it sounds like. I’m going to have to remember this one if I ever need a deep treatment.
Thanks for the tips, friend!
Ohemmgee I love Morrocanoil! Not only it does it work amazingly, but it smells soooooo good!
I'm definitely keeping hte 2nd one in mind for after the baby arrives. I've heard lots of people say your hair takes a serious beating after childbirth!
I've seen that Henna and Placenta stuff and wondered about it. I think I need to buy some and give it a try! I deep condition once every week or two...it's helps keep my frizzies away! Love your suggestions, as always!
Hope you're having a great week so far!♥
I am going to have to try that Henna & Placenta - is it good for conditioning curly hair??

I have baby fine hair and not a lot of it. At least, not in the front. Guess I won't be trying that Morrocan oil.
I am going this week and get the Henna & Placenta. Can't wait to try it! I get my hair colored and would love to find something to add strenght and shine to my hair. Thanks for the heads up :)
You should definitely try the Kenra Curl Defining Cream it is great. It does not leave you hair with that wet crunchy look that is so not becoming and it really does manage the frizz!
I need to try that oil! I have super thick, sometimes hard to manage hair so I'll have to give it a try! I'm a new follower!
I'll have to pick up some Henna 'n' Placenta...the name totally grosses me out but I'll give it a try.
thanks for rec on the placenta stuff. haha. i've been looking for a new deep conditioner.
never heard of either of those. shows how much i'm not into hair i guess! :)
new follower. kelli
I think I need the placenta stuff! My hair gets dry as a desert! I use John Frieda products--al the ones for brown hair ;--)
I bought originally Moroccan Oil for my daughters hair. They are half black and their hair is very hard to manage. My hair is also very thick and wavy. So I use it on my hair and my daughters hair. I live in Japan and the humidity here is HORRIBLE! As soon as I step outside, my hair goes "POOF!!" lol... Moroccan Oil is a little pricey but worth it!
I really need to try Moroccan Oil! I've heard such amazing things about it!
