Thank Goodness for TIVO

I know y'all have heard me profess my love for my boyfriend, Tivo. Tivo is the bomb diggity. He's the one man in my life I can count on to listen to me and do exactly what I ask him to do, when I ask him to do it. Other men (cough Jason cough) like to argue with me about their honey-do list. Not Tivo. He's right there when I need him. Bless his heart, because I have a full roster of shows I want to watch for the fall season. I'm a huge television watcher. Yes, I know there are better things I can do with my time, but whatever. We all have our vices.

What are you watching this fall?

Here's my television line up.
**For some of the shows, the jury is still out. I'm not sure if I'll keep watching some of the new shows.

Gleeks, what did you think about last night's Britney/Brittany episode? I was a little disappointed. I had such high expectations after the Madonna episode, and I felt like it didn't live up to them. I felt like the show was just a mish-mash of musical numbers with random dialogue thrown in to make it all fit. I did think that Brittany was a much better singer than I expected, Britney was underused, and the Toxic number was fabulous.

I wasnt THAT impressed with the GLEE episode... I did love the Toxic part though because of Mr. Shue (MEOW!!! he's hot!) ... but I did NOT think Lea Michelle did a good "Hit me baby one more time"... that was painful...

I really liked Britney doing Britney...her character is so mellow that it was kinda neat to see her bust out like she did, and I think she did a great job. I agree that "hit me baby one more time" was kinda painful to watch but watching Mr. Shue made up for it....he is yummy!

I thought it was awesome! But I could have stood to see more Miss Britney Spears herself. I have DVR and it's a lifesaver. Love it!

I completely agree on Glee - I was super excited about it and felt let down in the end. Yes, some of the songs were really good, but I thought that the actual Britney should have been used more (I mean, did she even have a line???) and the plot was definitely lacking.

We watch a lot of the same shows.

I loved Glee- I didn't really have an expectation of it though (I have found if I do, I just get disappointed) so I laughed out loud during most of it. LOVE LOVE LOVED Heather Morris last night: http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FHeather_Morris_%2528actress%2529&h=58d43

Is My Generation any good? I wanted to watch it but forgot last week

I didn't get to watch this week's Glee yet. Sounds like I shouldn't try and squeeze it in before the weekend...

Glee, DWTS, Grey's, Private Practice, Hawaii 5-0, Fringe and Jersey Shore are currently on my DVR list.

Yep, love the DVR! I am not a gleek, per se, but I did watch last night and thought the Britany numbers were really good. That one girl can move!!!
I don't a lot of the shows but one of the new ones I like is Better with You. A new show I don't like is Running Wilde.
On a completely separate note, I made the suffed mushrooms the other week and had leftover filling. I didn't know what to do with it so I served it over grits. YUMMMMMMMM!

I know you are going to think I am nutso...but I have NEVER seen Glee!!! I really need to rent it and start from the first season, but I don't know if it's out yet? I am loving Fringe, Chuck, LoneStar, Cougar Town, Modern Family, Office, House, The Event, America's Next Top Model, and so many more I can't think of right now!

I really liked the Britney episode, but she was hardly in it at all. It would have been better if she'd had a bigger role.

I have to admit that I don't watch Glee. I think maybe it conflicts with a couple of other shows I watch that I simply CANT give up. And ya know, my DVR can only cover two at a time.

Honestly, I feel ridiculous with how excited I get for the fall shows! There are so many that I am addicted to that it is sad. But, that doesn't change the fact that I watch them religiously!

I just got a DVR and I love it :)

The only shows you watch, that I watch, are Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy...I also love The Big Bang Theory, and started My generation. We shall see how they go :)

Your TV schedule looks as full as mine! it's only been like 2 weeks since these shows all came back, and I'm already behind on a bunch of them!

It does seem like every glee episode is written by a different set of writers than the one before but I did enjoy the episode. I love Brittany even more now, she is hilarious, from the dolphins are gay sharks to the other ridiculous side comments she makes, I love her. and what an amazing dancer!

I love Ms. Spears so I was pleased. I am also a tv watcher and my faves are survivor (although after the last 2 seasons) I don;t know how this one will compare. I am digging the cheesy factor in Hawaii 5-0 and love the amazing race.

thanks for the sweet comment on my blog today!

I have a love affair with my DVR too! I liked that they let Brittany (not Spears)shine on the show in this episode--she is so funny too!

You're as bad as I am! I will have my schedule going up soon :)

I really didn't like the Glee premiere-it felt kinda dark and mean (if that makes sense). I preferred the Britney ep because it didn't have much plot-just Britney :)

What do you think of The Event? I'm worried it will get canceled like FlashForward last year. I also find the "2 years ago" "3 months ago" "7 days ago" flashbacks to be really confusing! They need to just have one or two per episode!
