I recently participated in The Texas Darlings Second Annual Bloggy Flip Flop Exchange for kids and adults. Becca is such a sweet, dear friend and I was so excited to get to know my partner, Ali, from Twin Mommas better.
Ali sent me a fantastic package with some super cute flip flops. I wore them out to dinner tonight and they are so cute and comfortable!
Ali sent goodies for the whole family! We got a Butch Walker CD (which has already had a few plays in the car), some doggie treats for George and JC (I caught George trying to climb up on the chair to get more), and a precious onesie for Cooper. Ali’s town, Cartersville GA, is home of the first painted wall sign advertising Coca Cola. She sent me a flyer and a Coca Cola post card. Too cool! Thank you, Ali!
Cooper wasn’t let out of the fun. Cooper was paired with Bubba, Becca’s (The Texas Darlings) one year old son.
Bubba really outdid himself! First off, the flip flops have submarines on them! We love anything submarine related because Cooper’s dad is a submariner in the US Navy. His chubby little feet look so adorable in these flip flops! Bubba also sent some socks, a Texas bib (Texans have more state pride than South Carolinians, I think), and an adorable outfit. We love it all! Thank you, Bubba and Becca!
Side note: I recently won a blog makeover from The Design Girl and I am super duper excited about freshening up the blog. Danielle did my current design, which I absolutely love and adore. However, my life has changed and the blog doesn’t really reflect those changes, so I guess it is time for a makeover. I’m a little sad to let go of the girl with the dogs but I’m excited to see what Danielle can come up with!
With that said, you’ll be seeing some posts that will be eventually linked to a handy dandy navigation bar (about me, links, etc). I just wanted to give you a head’s up in case you’re wondering why in the world I’m posting such random stuff all of a sudden.

You know, I've heard how Butch Walker is supposed to be such a major artist and stuff but they never play his music on the radio here. I used to listen to him when he was with Southgang (I think that's the band he became famous with?!) and then they never played his music again. Hmm...
I'll be sad to see your girl with the chi go too! I love it and will miss seeing it when I stop by to visit. But congrats on winning a blog makeover! I'd like a new look too. I like what I have now but at the same time, I'm kinda over it.
A flip-flop swap is an AWESOME idea! Hmm, maybe I'll host one next year. :-)
