Happy Monday, everyone! I am sitting here in an absolute daze today. Have you ever had those moments where you wake up and immediately want to crawl back into bed for the rest of the day? That’s me. Thankfully it is my day off so I can do so if I please. And y’all…. I do please.
Today’s topic of FMM, hosted by Amber at aefilkins, is:
If life were a movie, which movie would you want to live in?
This is a hard one. I had a few thoughts before I settled on my final choice.
Ok, I know this isn’t technically a movie, but it did air on MTV once. Legally Blonde: The Musical combines four of my favorite things: music, dancing, Elle Woods, and chihuahuas. I want to live in that pink world, don’t you?
Ordinarily I’d never choose this movie, but I am pregnant, and riding down a chocolate river is sounding awfully good to me right now. I think I’d upgrade to the Johnny Depp version, though, just for the eye candy.
Center Stage is such a corny movie, but sue me – I love corny movies, ok? I’d love to be a sexy ballerina who gets to choose between two guys while dancing to Michael Jackson tunes.
Ultimately, the final choice was obvious. After all, I’ve blogged before about how this movie has ruined my life.
Come to mama, Noah/Ryan Gosling. I’ll be your Allie/Rachel McAdams any day. I think my husband would understand.

For a recent movie, I'd have to pick the Proposal. Get paid to read, be vastly more assertive than I am in my real life - and STILL get Ryan Reynolds. SCORE!!
I love Center Stage!! The lack of realism in the final number drives me nuts but i watch it every time it's on tv. J'adore!!
I was thinking Center Stage too...any kind of dance movie! I would also be a fan of living in Charlie's Chocolate Factory. Sweets all day everyday...sounds like a good life to me! Good picks!

Ooh, I think you hit it right on with Willy Wonka! Oh yeah, that's the place to be. If you can't eat sugar. Which I can't. but, if I was living in a movie I would be able to!

These are all wonderful choices! Actually, I haven't seen The Notebook but I've heard it's excellent. Don't go see romantic movies because it just reminds me that I'm alone.

I love all the movies you listed! I thought of the Notebook and decided it was too much for me! I would live my life sobbing! Haha. Well not really, actually I think it'd be so utterly romantic I wouldn't be able to stand it.

I LOVE The Notebook, but I couldn't pick it because Alzheimer's is the most frightening thing in the world to me...it is a terribly romantic movie though.

Nice choices! I like Willy Wonka...or 13 Going on 30...or 27 Dresses...any of those would work for me!
