Tuesdays at the Table

Andrea's Tues at the Table Red Gingham copy

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Welcome to Tuesdays at the Table! I hope you'll participate by posting your own food related post and linking up to join the party.

To participate, simply create a food-related post: a recipe, a food tip, a tutorial, a product review - anything food related! Be sure to link back to My Chihuahua Bites! in your post so that your readers know where they can come to join the party.

Once your blog is posted, come back to this post and sign in with Mr. Linky. Please try to visit as many of the blogs that are linked up as possible. We’ve had some good stuff posted the last few weeks!

Today I’m sharing the recipe for Chicken Breast Supreme. I found this recipe at Kelly’s Korner. She has a recipe blog called Kelly’s Recipes.

Picture 146

The picture doesn’t do the recipe justice. This was so incredibly good. There are no words.

You will need:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Half a package of bacon
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can of mushrooms
  • 1 jar of dried beef

I’d never heard of dried beef before this recipe, but you can find it on the same aisle as tuna and spam. It should be on the top shelf. It’s very salty and adds a lot of flavor to this recipe.

Wrap the chicken in bacon. I used about 2 slices for each breast. Lay the chicken flat in a 13x9 baking pan. In a separate bowl, combine the sour cream, soup, and mushrooms. Tear the dried beef into small pieces and add that as well. Stir to combine, and pour over your chicken. Bake at 350 degrees for 1.5 hours.

This was delicious! I served it with rice, and the husband and I ate every bite. Yummo!

What’s cooking, ladies? Link up!

I wanted to play along today, but I've got nothing. Unless, everybody would like the recipe for Hamburger Helper.

I came back to tell you that I tagged you on my page! ☺

Hope you're having a great day!

That looks so delicious! I'm not a huge fan of chicken though, but the sauce on the pasta might even be good!
