I'm testing out a new feature in Microsoft Office 2007 that allows me to use Word to upload my blog posts. You may see this blog post disappear if it doesn't work out. Update: it worked, but my pictures disappeared. Back to the drawing board!
I finally got my taxes done last night! I am such a procrastinator. I had been waiting because I thought we would owe, and really, what's the hurry in that? We sold some stocks last year and I knew we'd have to pay taxes on that. But we ended up with a refund, which I wasn't expecting, and my savings account will thank me for the extra cushion.
What are your thoughts on American Idol this season? I think Adam is the front runner. To be honest, I'm kind of not crazy about any of the contestants this season. I get that the contestants want to make their own choices and pick their own songs, but geez, listen to the judges! The judges are right to lecture about song choices and I think it is obnoxious when the contestants won't take criticism. I'm so glad that Simon responded the way he did when asked if Megan would be saved last night. Was it harsh, sure! But she deserved it.
Is there anyone besides me who still watches The Real World? I've loved this season because it seemed like the roommates really enjoyed each other's company. However, I can't stand Kaitlyn. She's completely obnoxious and quite obviously thinks she's intellectually superior to her other (male) roommates. I watched some of the reunion show last night and she was demanding apologies from JD but hypocritically wouldn't apologize herself. Get over yourself! I think it is ridiculous to tout yourself as the face of transgender persons but then get upset because your attempt to keep your identify a secret was uncovered.

I totally STILL watch the Real World... havent seen last night's yet (I watch them at work on Friday - sshhh) - but I just LOVE the two guys... dang, my mind is blank - the guy who's going back in the Army (so sad!) & the blond guy who is a Mormon... he is freaking adorable!!!!
I missed last night's AI... I just checked online to see who was eliminated.
I just downloaded Live Writer for posting blogs and so far I love it! Some other blogger had posted the link - can't remember who. Anyway, you might check into it if you don't like Word.

Taxes...ughhh we've just filled for an extension and may even defer what we owe to next year, and the year after, and the year after. Heck can we just go a-wall on the whole tax thing?!? Seriously!
I too love Adam but I think I like Danny more. He's just real and sweet and doesn't wear dresses on the weekend. Not that I'm be judging I'm just saying it's a little odd. I do have to confess, Adam's a hottie!

I do think Adam is great, but I'm just not feeling him......I love Danny and Matt, but Matt wont listen to the judges so he may end up like Megan.....and why in the heck was she acting like such a moron last night? I have love her from the beginning, but she needed to go!
I don't watch every season of RW but I did get into this season. They all did seem to genuinely like each other, which was kind of nice. And it was great to see them focus on the military and all the issues facing the guys who come back from that.
I agree, I cannot stand Kaitlyn. She is a brat who obviously doesn't have a responsible bone in her body. Ugh.

I was glad to see Megan go. She is a cute girl, but her singing got on my nerves and she picked a bad song. I'm not really into it this year either like I have been in the past. I do like Danny Gokey though. He is my pick.
I don't do the Real World anymore. I used to watch that show all the time.
I am enjoying American Idol so far. I am not sure who I like yet. I do love Simon though. He tells you how it is and I love that.
I do watch the RW. I DVR it and I am heading off right now to cook lunch and see what happen. Did you see the Challenge show is coming back and looks pretty wild. I know I love t.v.

Oh my gosh! I totally agree with the Megan stuff. I was soooo annoyed with her attitude, lack of gratitude, and smart mouth! Glad she left!

i'm not as into american idol this year as i was in years past. i think it's because the contestants aren't as good. i agree with you on the judges and criticisms.
we had our tax refund on feb 15th :) and now, it's all gone - most due in part to job situations here!
Last night I thought to myself, I must be the only person I know that watches the Real World. :) So glad you watch it too! I did like this season and Kaitlyn is annoying. I missed the reunion show, I'll have to catch a rerun.
Adam is AMAZING! To me he is the most talented contestant they have ever had. Danny is really good too. I am so glad that blonde chick got booted last night. I couldn't take another minute of her wiggling back and forth.
Have you tried Windows Live Writer 2009? It is great. I downloaded it about a week ago and I love it. It has really good features. You can compose your blog with your background so you see how it looks before you post it. Try it.

This is the first season of The Real World I've watched since the very beginning. I haven't seen it since the guy found out he has to go back to Iraq (or was it Afganistan?). I catch it on reruns. I can't stand Kaitlyn either though. SO annoying!
