These do not have to be your ideas, although that would be fab. If you have the time and inclination, you could surf the web and post ideas you find there (giving credit and securing any permissions you might need, of course).
The truth is, contrary to today's post, I am stressed out, and I have too much to do. I can't work 10 hour days, come home and cook, clean, decorate, do laundry, and finish off my to-do list without sacrificing sleep and making myself sick in the process. I need to take a little bit of a load off, and having someone come in and help me blog for a day or two would be incredible. If you are interested, leave me a comment or email me! If I don't get any takers, that's fine... I may just close blog for a day or two. But I'm so OCD I know I'd push myself to blog, thus ruining the whole "take a break" idea.
Also... here's a very serious question. Should I cut my bangs? I love, love, love Katie's bob with bangs but I think my face might be too fat to carry it off. Here's the most recent pic of me. My bangs and bob are almost the same length right now.

Hmmm, I would say no on the bangs if they're REALLY blunt like Katies. I think some bangs would look great, your face is so pretty though, why hide it!
But who am I to suggest. I have the worst haircut ever. In my defense, it's not what I asked for. Haha!
Oh, and for decorating ideas, I think it's super cute to hang white christmas lights around wall pictures around the holidays.
i don't like bangs - i think they box in a person's face.
i agree with .becca., you have a pretty face and i think bangs would hide it.
also, if you are stressed right now, i've learned (the hard way) not to make hair cut decisions while stressed.
i'm not really crafty, or i would volunteer to help out with the blogging. i'm going on a break from school tomorrow and i've got plenty of time (haha - no seriously, i do). i do have a 3-4 ingredient fudge recipe and a 4 ingredient cheese ball if you are interested. i don't have pictures of them, but i could take a few.
I wouldn't do it!!! I love your hair the way it is... plus i think her hair style only looks good on kids.
Jessica
I think you could do either.. its' only hair! :)
Well, there are two ways to look at it. First of all, you have a nice forehead. Believe me, this is important when you don't have bangs. So, because your forehead is nice, and your hairline as well, you look fab with your hair the way it is. If it's change you desire, then I think you should cut your bangs. It's nice to not have to constantly brush your bangs out of your face or secure them, that's for sure. And no, you are not "too fat" for bangs. I've never heard that one before. I personally think that long straight hair is very unflattering on roundish persons such as myself. But then that's just my opinion. You are the beauty queen, so who am I to say?
Oh yeah, I hear you with the whole blog is time-consuming thing and something needs to give. I'm struggling with this myself right now. I wish you much luck in this department.
I think everyone is having trouble keeping up with blogs at this time of year. You have your normal job and housework, and then decorating, wrapping presents, and Christmas parties...oh my!
I, too, am not really a bang person. But I say go for it if you want to mix it up a little. They should grow back rather quickly if you don't really like them.
Well I am a bit biast as I have had bangs since I came out of my mother's womb! lol. But bangs are very "in" right now. I am not sure about the fullness of Katie's--full bangs always seem kind of...vintage? artsy? I am not quite sure how to describe it...or on the totally other side of the spectrum...secret agent/007. Anyways, I am sure none of that makes sense...but I would maybe go with some bangs to the side. I cut my bangs all the time...cut a little and check it out...cut a little more. If anything you can pin it back if its a mess. But I definitely think you would look very cute with some bangs...looking forward to maybe seeing a new hair cut post sometime soon... ;)
Yay love all the decor!
-I think you should try bangs. A new hairstyle is always FUN! Plus... if you really hate them you can pin them back, and your hair will still be cute!
Personally, I don't like Katie's bob. Instead of getting straight across bangs I think you would look great with some that sweep (sweepy bands, I call them) across your face at an angle.
I'm sorry that you're stressed out!!!
Andrea...seriously....NO bangs!! You'll complain like crazy when you don't want them anymore and have to "grow them out"!!
~ Kim :)
Let me just say this about bangs---they are really a pain if they are too long...and its REALLY hard to get them to the "right" length. Ugh. But hair DOES grow out...just dont go all blunt like katie...she looks kinda funny.
I wish i was crafty...then i would whip one up for you. I have not a crafty minute in my day. I am hoping one day to be crafty though!!
I personally think you would look way cute with bangs...however, you are totally cute without bangs...so I guess it's your call☺ Bangs would be nice for a change. I don't recommend the chunky thick bangs like Katie, but maybe some longer ones that can be side-swept. JMO. As for your other issue...I'm not doing that great of a job blogging...so, I don't think you would want my assistance, but if I think of someone to nominate (hehe) I'll be sure to do so☺ Good luck! Hope you're having a great Wednesday!
Oh GO FOR IT!
If I can pull it off, you can too!
I'm going for bigger, thicker bangs this weekend. They have really grown on me, literally and figuratively! LOL
I never comment.
but, I have a "fat" face, and a few weeks ago pondered the same idea... and i say do it.
I left my hairdressor SO HAPPY! lOVES IT!

Been on the fence about Bangs agan myself.. I haven't had them sice the big bang days of the early 90's..lol I just dated myself.. Still haven't done it.. I say No your hair looks way cute the way it is..
I'd be happy to do a Xmas Card making Tutorial for your blog you can post.. I can do a technique.
first of all, i think Katie is really cute... but I think you are beautiful... i think you could totally pull of bangs... and even if you didn't keep them straight you could do a sweep... like I said in my other comment... sorry for repeating myself... i have kids so i have to usually say things at least three times. lol
i think it would be cute. and also they are just bangs, and your hair is kind of short so it wouldn't take long for them to grow out. :)
i say go for it.
what does your hubby think? or your mom??
xoxoxoxo
also, I would love to guest post on your blog... only i'm not sure i have any great ideas... can i think on it and work on it and get back to you?? i could maybe email you some ideas that i have. i am a stampin' up demo so maybe i could do a card demo... i'll have to work on some ideas and also take some pictures... and let you know.
i'd love to be able to help you feel less stressed. i'll try my best.
xoxoxo
I am biased, I love bangs. I think you would look great either way!
I hear you on long workdays and stress, I have been seriously neglecting my blog this week!
I am lovin' the bangs idea.. but not so heavy.. maybe a little wispier (is that even a word?)
