Tuesdays at the Table

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Today's contribution for Tuesday at the Table comes from my beautiful friend, Kim. We met on move-in day, freshman year, at Winthrop University. I experienced the best and worst of college with this girl. This picture is from when we were 22, I think, and were about to go to the fair. Fun times!

Kim's Caramel Apple Dip
1 8 oz package of cream cheese, softened but not melted
1 tub of caramel dip (Kim recommends Marzetti's)
1 bag of Heath toffee bits
Apples

Spread cream cheese into the bottom of a round glass dish.

Stir the caramel dip in the container, and then pour on top of the cream cheese.

Spread the caramel to cover the cream cheese.

Sprinkle toffee bits on top, about 1/2 of the bag. You will need sliced apples for dipping. The pre-sliced ones in the bag work great and they don't turn brown. Green granny smith apples go best with the dip.

Doesn't this look delicious? I can't wait to try it. This is my kind of recipe: semi-homemade all the way.

Please do me a favor and stop by Kim's blog to say hello! Have a great day, everyone!

hi.

first let me start by saying i'm sorry. i'm sorry i didn't get to guest post for you. we got hit with snow and our cable was out... i still have no computer at home, b/c we are painting downstairs (finally) and we had to unplug everything. :( i really feel like i let you down. i thought about it all weekend, but this was my first time being able to get to a computer. i had pre-posted and last friday, but didn't think i'd have any problems with the cable... should've known and I would have worked on getting the post done for you.

and i'm also sorry to leave all this in your comments...it is just that i'm at my parents house and don't have an email account here to use. lol

ugh. anyway... when i get my computer back up and running, if you would like the post about the card, then i would gladly do it.

also... i love this picture of you... you haven't really changed, and your friend looks like she could be your cousin, something about the two of you makes you look related. maybe just b/c you are such good friends. :)

and that dip... wow. that looks slammin'!! :)

hope you are all ready for Christmas since it is only two days away.

have a great day... and again I beg for your forgiveness!!

xoxoxo x

Hey girl. I was just checking my blog and I had a few comments about the apple dip so I realized you had posted it today. Thanks! I'm glad so many people are going to try it. I should have taken a picture of the empty dish after the party Friday night. It was all gone...a big hit! Seriously...no better pictures of me? lol :)
Merry Christmas! ~Kim
